FAQ

We have a 2 bottle minimum per order. We offer $25 flat rate shipping for case buys (12-750ml bottles) within California.

All orders must be signed for by a person 21 years of age or older. If possible, we HIGHLY recommend setting your shipping address to your office (if you have one), or a place where an adult will be present during normal delivery hours to sign for the delivery. This is super important! If the delivery is returned due to multiple attempts the return shipping cost will be charged to the card attached to your order. If we have to send it again, you'll be re-charged for shipping and before you know it, you've spent more on shipping than you did for your wine?! Let's help each other make this process as economical and efficient as possible.

We are a super small team. Please be patient with us - sometimes it may take a few days before your order goes out. If you need your wine to be expedited for any reason, please say so in your order notes, and/or reach out to us directly via email. We always do our best to get orders shipped out ASAP. If you are placing an order Friday-Sunday your order will be packed and shipped Monday.

General

Orders placed Monday-Thursday before 3 pm PST will ship within 48 hours. Orders placed Friday-Sunday will ship the following week.
Once your order is packed, you will receive a tracking number with an estimated delivery date via UPS or GLS.
Please contact the shipper directly for UPS 1 -800-742-5877 for GLS 1-800-322-5555 to see if you can reschedule or reroute the package. We send tracking information the moment your order is packed so please monitor it to check when your delivery will be. After 3 attempts UPS will send your package back to our warehouse. If your package needs to be re-shipped we will have to charge you for shipping again. If your shipment comes back and you choose not to have the package reshipped there will be a $20 restocking fee subtracted from your refund. Your refund will not include the original shipping cost.
If you need to change the delivery address on your order for a UPS or GLS shipment please reach out to the carrier directly to update. UPS 1-800-742-5877 for GLS 1-800-322-5555. In some cases you can also do this online, just have your tracking number handy. We are unable to do this for you once it leaves the winery. If your order comes back to us and needs to be re-shipped we will have to charge you for shipping again.

Pick Up is available at the winery Monday-Thursday 11am-4pm. Our address is 1387 Marina Way S #500, Richmond, CA 94804. Once your order is ready to be picked up you will receive an email saying it is ready. If you have questions about your order please reach out to orders@subjecttochangewine.com. We are not offering tastings at this time unfortunately.

We do! Thank you for thinking of us for your special occasion. We offer special pricing on orders with a minimum of two or more solid unmixed cases (24 bottles). As an example, 12 bottles of Bang Bang Chardonnay and 12 bottles of Lunatic Zinfandel would qualify for special pricing. Our discount ranges are based on quantity with the largest discount hitting 30% off 7 or more cases. The more cases you get, the greater discount you will receive. This offer applies to cans and kegs as well. Please reach out to us at orders@subjecttochangewine.com if you’d like to place a bulk order.

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from Subject To Change Wine Co to the purchaser at the warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, Subject To Change Wine Co is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Subject To Change Wine Co, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

Wine Club

You can log in on our website. You can access your account on the top right with the ‘human’ icon.
We offer 3 shipments per year in 6 or 12 bottle increments. You can visit our Wine Club page to see what the current offering includes.
Log into your account on our website. You can access your account on the top right with the ‘human’ icon. Once in your account you’ll see ‘VIEW MY MEMBERSHIPS’. You can click on that button. In your membership page, you’ll see ‘Add or edit wine options’ on the bottom left hand side of the page. Here you can add whichever bottles you’d like. Please remember we only ship in 3 bottle increments and you will receive free shipping on 12 bottles.
You can cancel your wine club subscription on our website by logging into your account. You access your account on the top right with the ‘human’ icon. Once in your account you’ll see ‘VIEW MY MEMBERSHIPS’. You can click on that button. Once in your membership page you’ll see ‘Cancel Membership’ on the bottom left of the page. Click on that and you’re all set. Once canceled you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email please reach out to us directly so we can verify the cancellation.

If you’d like to pause or skip a shipment please email us directly at orders@subjecttochangewine.com and we can manually make this change for you.
Unfortunately if your subscription has already been processed we are unable to refund you or have the shipment returned. We advise 7 days prior to a club shipment that the wines are on the way in order to provide members time to make adjustments if needed. If shipments are sent to the wrong address because changes were not made in time the customer will be responsible for associated fees to re-route orders. Thanks for understanding, unfortunately without this policy, shipping wine is not economically feasible for us.
